LCD 1602 I2C
₪25.00
The LCD 1602 I2C Module (Black Board) is an interface adapter that allows a 16×2 LCD display to communicate using the I2C protocol, reducing the number of required microcontroller pins to only two.
The LCD 1602 I2C Interface Module is designed to simplify the connection between a 16×2 LCD display and a microcontroller. Instead of using multiple digital pins, the I2C module allows the display to communicate using only two signal lines (SDA and SCL).
This version comes with a black PCB board and supports standard HD44780-compatible LCD1602 displays. It is based on the PCF8574 I/O expander chip, which converts I2C signals into parallel signals required by the LCD.
The module also includes an adjustable potentiometer for display contrast control, making it easy to fine-tune the screen visibility.
It is widely used in Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi projects where saving GPIO pins is important.
